Tirana Backpacker Hostel is near to the historical centre of the city - Scanderbeg Square - where the old mosque, the clock tower, the Opera, the National Museum of History are located. Nightlife is also nearby in the Blloku quarter.

The national football stadium is a 3 minutes walk away, and if you prefer to play solo there is the big Lake park 5 minutes walk away. In summer this park is worth a visit as a great mixture of Albanians gather there to promenade, fish, walk their cow's and sheep, for family picnics or just play some football.

Within 100m of the hostel you can find a post office, many restaurants, the best Jazz Club of Tirana, an internet centre, photo shop, RockWood pub, several bars, and the house of the Prime Minister.

Walking from Scanderbeg square you take the main boulevard (south of the square or behind the Scanderbeg statue). Going straight ahead pass Lana river and Pyramid. Take 'Ismail Qemali' street on your left, between Rogner hotel and the Prime Minister office. Walk for about 350 meters until 'Ismail Qemali' meets with 'Rruga Elbasanit'.

The Hostel is at the corner, you'll face it,

a two-floors yellow vila with a green gate.

If you decide to take a taxi and the driver can't find the place, if you simply tell him the street and number (quite normal in Tirana), then tell the driver to bring you to Liceu (high school of Arts),

which is at the same crossroad, opposite us.
