Day trip to Dajti Mountain.

The tour begins with a short transfer to the cable car station of Dajti Express. This is followed by a beautiful panoramic ride to the meadows of the park at an elevation of 1,000 m.

From here, the tour hits a well-trodden trail that winds through the oak forest till the Cherry Pass that stands between the two peaks of Dajti. The tour continues further along the trail, which offers great views of the western lowlands of Albania and the Adriatic coast.

The trail leads to the peak of Tujani (1,580 m), which is the highest point that can be reached by foot. From the peak, the panorama broadens inland and guests can enjoy the views of Lake Bovilla locked between the mountains and the remote highlands of Tirana, dominated by the St. Mary Miçek Mountain.

After a snack break near the peak, the group starts walking back towards the cable car station for another quick ride to Tirana.

There are many nice restaurants in Mount Daity. Those who would like to enjoy lunch at any of these place are free to do so at their own expense.

The tour itinerary is as follows:

- 9:00 am - meet the guide at the backpackers hostel, Rr Elbesanit 85

- 9:30 am - cable car ride begins

- 10:00 am - trail begins

- 11:30 am - reach Cherry Pass and enjoy a short break

- 12:00 noon - reach Peak of Tujani and have a snack

- 12:30 pm - start walking down

- 1:30 pm - take the cable car to Tirana

- 2:30 pm - return to hotel.

The price per person of 20 Euros is applicable as long as a minimum number of three people have booked the tour. If there are less than three people booked on the trip, then the price per person is higher. If there is just one participant, the charge is 50 Euros; if there are two participants, then the charge is 27 Euros each.
