Like all Mediterranean people, Albanians always enjoy late dinners, late evening walks, drinks and entertainment, especially Tirana people, who swarm out in hundreds of thousands in the pleasant breeze of the summer nights.
We will walk through the central part of the National Martyr’s Boulevard, cross over to Elbasani Street, where we will enjoy the refine and rich cuisine of a traditional restaurant, offering great traditional dishes and a wide variety of very tasty and pleasantly surprising salads and vegetable based dishes.

Like all Mediterranean people, Albanians always enjoy late dinners, late evening walks, drinks and entertainment, especially Tirana people, who swarm out in hundreds of thousands in the pleasant breeze of the summer nights.
Our meeting place will be in the front of the National Gallery of Arts, at 19:00.
We will walk through the central part of the National Martyr's Boulevard, cross over to Elbasani Street, where we will enjoy the refine and rich cuisine of a traditional restaurant, offering great traditional dishes and a wide variety of very tasty and pleasantly surprising salads and vegetable based dishes.
After dinner we will walk nearby to café with a Tirana photo exhibition, open 24 hours a day, to enjoy great espresso and take a look at the collection of enlarged images of Tirana from the 1920s, thirties and forties.
As the clock hits 21:15 we will begin our walk through the busiest quarter of town, the Blloku, former forbidden city, where only the highest leadership of the Albanian leadership would live, in lovely villas, hidden away from the eyes of the people by cordons of soldiers.
Since the fall of communism Blloku turned into the a typical downtown area, with the highest concentration of business and entertainment.
We will finish our evening tour with a refreshing cocktail on the lawn of what used to be part of the housing complex of the Albanian dictator Enver Hoxha, and after 22:00 hours guests are free to go looking for their own favorite pub.
